Stromness is a wonderful base from which to enjoy visiting the rest of Orkney. There is a regular bus services to Kirkwall from where you can catch ferries to same the other islands.

From Camusbeag you can see the islands of Hoy and Graemsay, and in the distance, Flotta, where the North Sea oil comes ashore.
